The rivalries between Navy ships’ crews can get intense sometimes. In the late 1980s, the battleships USS New Jersey and USS Missouri were tied up near each other in Long Beach. The print shop on the New Jersey decided to have some fun with the crew of the “Mighty Mo”. This is a reproduced flier created by the printers aboard “The Big J” and circulated along the Long Beach waterfront.
