US Navy Cook Book 1920

Naval Training Station Commissary School — Newport, Rhode Island

This document was brought to our attention by a visitor, Paul Jett, who served on the USS Little Rock CLG-4 from 1962–1965. It was digitized by Google from the original, which resides in the University of California archives.

Interestingly, while passing through the Charleston, SC airport I met a group of sailors and we struck up a conversation. When I mentioned we would be adding this page with the 1920 US Navy Cookbook, they all agreed it must still be in use. We had a good laugh.
