Appendix D of Naval Ordnance and Gunnery, Volume 2: Fire Control (NavPers 10798-A, 1958) provides a table of natural trigonometric functions — sine, cosine, tangent, and cotangent — for use in manual fire control calculations. These values were consulted when solving the geometric relationships between bearing, range, deflection, and elevation that underlie surface and antiaircraft gunnery problems. The table occupies page 482 of the volume.
